Tay's practice centres on corporate, commercial, and business advisory matters, as well as banking and finance law. Tay regularly advises clients across the Asia-Pacific region on a broad spectrum of corporate and commercial issues. This includes guiding clients through mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and cross-border transactions, with particular expertise in facilitating complex corporate deals and structuring high-value land acquisitions. Tay also conducts comprehensive due diligence exercises to mitigate client risk.
Over the years, Tay has acted for a distinguished portfolio of clients, including publicly listed companies in Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, and the People’s Republic of China, along with one of East Asia’s largest banking and financial institutions.
